          Lect. Du Yang is one of China’s most promising young scholars. She earned her PhD degree from Renmin University in 2012 after studying at Nottingham University as a visiting scholar. She is often invited to participate at international conferences on youth leadership and global governance in the United States and the European Union. Lect. Du’s research covers topics on China’s contemporary foreign policy, such as China’s Crisis Management in the South China Sea, the Belt and Road initiative and China’s role in global governance.
