                                                                  Prof. Wang has been a faculty member at SIR since 2006. He teaches courses on American Politics and Economy, International Security and Development, Energy and Environmental Political Economy, Energy and Environmental Diplomacy, etc. His research mainly covers International Energy and Environmental Political Economy, Policy Innovation and American Studies. Prof. Wang has been granted and directed several international and state funded research projects on climate change and energy policies. Besides serving as a peer reviewer for several international journals, he is also a member of the expert consultants committee for Chinese Ministry of Commerce on Environmental and Energy Issues. He has been commissioned as an Expert Consultant by the APEC Secretariat on Renewable and Clean Energy Investment since 2011. Prof. Wang served as a visiting fellow on Environmental and Energy Studies and the Chinese Director of the Business Confucius Institute at the Business School of University of Leeds, UK, from late 2012 to the summer of 2015 and is currently a research fellow at the University of Leeds. He held the position of research associate at the School of International Development, University of East Anglia, UK 2009-2011 and has been granted a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Position for Climate Policy Research at the Belfer Center of Harvard Kennedy School, 2008-2009.


                                                                  Prof. Wang Bo has been awarded a Ph.D. in International Relations by the China Foreign Affairs University in 2006. His dissertation concentrated on U.S. oil policy and the Sino-US relations.
